This is up there with Rogue Dawn, definitely one of the best M1 hacks. Mother Brain room was balls though.

Anything wrong with this hack is entirely due to it being an NES game. My expectations were blown away, it even has great original music and story which are beyond rare in my opinion. Well done.

I created an account just so I could rate this, that was the most fun I've had with a hack.
Speed booster puzzles are my thing and this had so many great ones that I would give it 5/5 for that alone, but the great overall level design, music(love that subtle tune in the Glacier music), and awesome graphical changes help too.
The extra touch of references to the previous hack is good stuff.

Couple of glitchy things on the map including an item that didn't exist, got softlocked at Kraid with no high jump, other than minor issues like that I enjoyed it. Good level design, music, palettes, weird ending.

I loved the puzzle like design of every room, it was fun to figure out how to overcome everything. Ridley and Kraid were a low point as others said but I thought the Mother Brain room was well done. I kinda wish there were more M1 hacks like this.

Pretty good recreation, obviously has some issues and one I don't see people mentioning is that Mua is fought after you get the Gravity Suit, so you're already immune to the lava, lol. Fun to see how everything was ported though.

Having a billion enemies in every single room was interesting to say the least, I didn't really love it but there were some enjoyable parts. The chases and the escape sequence were pretty cool. 3.5/5
