What a really solid hack! It felt very vanilla like, but the new palettes and room layouts really made it feel fresh. Solid level design. I also appreciated the Red Brinstar remix; that was a nice touch. I may have tried to sequence break a little too much :P
Great hack. Nicely designed hack that engages the player to look hard to find its well hidden secrets. If you're the type who likes to truly explore and find everything hidden in every nook and cranny, then this hack is for you. Overall this hack flows really well and has great level design.

Really neat concept for a hack that I haven't really seen before. It reminds me of Super Metroid Arcade in many ways. Wasn't too difficult overall, though I did have some close calls a few times. I came across a few small bugs like missing tile collision and a broken scroll update, but overall it was smooth. This is definitely worth checking out!
Fun little hack. Biggest issues include switching off beams to fight single beam vulvernable pirates and the lack of a map.
I really liked this hack. The visuals were amazing and the level design felt like a new and improved Project Base. And the custom music in a few places really made the hack unique. The addition of falling blocks you interacted with and the electrical water, among other things, was a nice touch
However, it felt like it was just a rehash of Project Base. There were some new rooms, but most of the game felt exactly like Project Base, aside from the visual change. I got softlocked by a door transition in Norfair which was fun. I also heavily disliked how X-Ray was so late in this hack (I mean VERY late) and the fact that the escape relied on finding a few small holes to break. This caused me to run out of time. >_> So my rating is 3 stars.
I still recommend it though for a fresh new way to play through Super Metroid.

Short review: ASM the Hack
Long review: I was really impressed with the ASM in this hack. There clearly was care in how it was utilized and executed. The hack is a little on the tougher side, with some rooms being really difficult. The boss really made the hack overall, even if it was a bit grindy. Worth playing for the ASM alone.

Neat concepts overall. Some parts were trolly like the few random crumble blocks as well as the hidden Grapple Blocks. Having the whole game in a single room was cool, even if cumbersome.

Alright, this hack was pretty ok. I liked some of the design elements, but I disliked a few things. Sequence breaking for the most part is dead. The low ammo counts for the expansions isn't fun to deal with. Some rooms are either the same, barely changed, or boring. But, the biggest downside of this hack is that Screw Attack is horribly nerfed. Yes, Screw Attack is really powerful, but having to hit enemies multiple times (2 times for Zebs, 10+ times for Disgeagas) is very annoying. I liked some elements of this hack, but those little things turn me away from it.
The palettes in many places are horrible. Bosses are way too fast and are annoying. The puzzles were neat and some of the rooms were cool. But most of the hack was poorly made and lacks real creativity. Like I guess it's ok for a half hack, but this attempt is pathetic. The enemy rush at the end was cool, but the whole hack is tarnished by the stupidly unfair and ridiculous Ridley fight. Combined with the over abundance of secrets in walls and bad design, this hack is just not worth playing. I do not recommend this at all.

Not much to say other than you have to escape the same permastucks constantly using X-Ray. I managed to skip Grapple with, you guessed it, X-Ray.
