Ascent's a funny one for exploration, because it completely locks you out of areas once you leave them, which makes for a frustrating experience when you realise you missed something. Still, with its great visuals and level design, Ascent is very much a hack that you want to explore. Giving it my vote for that alone.

Once again, choosing Ascent! The zoned off areas make it so you can't get into a spot that's super difficult to get yourself out of, and is paced really well for a fun time. There are a lot of items to grab and neat puzzles, would recommend.

Although the area locks may be a bit annoying when trying to get 100%, everything else about this hack's exploration is incredible.

Ascent is great. Easily one of the best exploration hacks out there, and how it tempers the wide open "explore everywhere" concept while limiting the player to smaller chunks of the total hack was an excellent choice that really pays off with the style of hack.
