Exploring is a major part of any Metroid game, hacks being no exception to this rule. Phazon 0.3 offers it like no other hack this year. It is not extremely difficult to go places, and the Warp Zone provides a very nice and convenient way to get around the world. The best way to have good exploration is to reward the player for looking around, and Phazon 0.3 does that. There isn't a feeling of dread heading back to previously explored areas because you want to see what was added to the area.

Collecting items and unlocking deeper areas of the hack seems to have been one of the main focuses. You can always explore a little, but never get too far into the area without getting a particular item to advance. There doesn't seem to be much filler either. And of course, looking for all those Phazon Particles is sure to keep your inquisitive nature satisfied for a long time.
