super fun to play :>
Not bad, but way too many little holes and non-solid walls that power bombs or xray don't help you with, as well as far too many blind jumps and enemies swooping in/jumping at you from offscreen.
Way too many instances of going through a door and it locking behind me. I can't overstate this. I see many folks here complaining about not having a sense of direction in this hack, and while at times I did feel this, I felt it to be reasonable given my situation and where I was. I'm unsure if this was the proposed solution to helping players feel less lost, but doors locking behind me to force me in a direction was frustrating. Probably more frustrating that just being lost and unsure if I'm moving towards progress.
I think I didn't do the intended boss route nor did I ever find Gold Torizo. Props for allowing multiple boss orders and entry points to places.
The most enjoyable feature of the hack was the amazing amount of utility speedbooster had. Really nailed it. It was very rewarding just trying to spark in different places often finding a new door leading to uncharted grounds. It was by far the driving factor to keep me playing.
Overall it was fun.

fun hack, recommend
Being a fan of vanilla hacks, Super Metroid Nature being a good representation of that, this hack was disappointing to put it amicably.
The tiling was reminiscent of early 2010's hacks. Uninsipired slopes and blocky, unnatural feeling platforms make up 100% of the room designs.
As MetroidNerd previously mentioned, there were way too many rooms with rising water/lava/acid. Furthermore, there were way too many instances of blind jumps and blind falls which almost always had a perfectly placed enemy, crumble block, or spike to make the player feel like the hack creator was thinking "He-he ha-ha, I got you!" Ugh.
The hack was playable/completeable without utterly ridiculous trolls and death traps, which is the only reason this hack achieved a 2 instead of a 1.
Hack creators, look to this hack to see what not to do when making your own hacks, vanilla or not.
Absolutely baffled with how many people enjoyed their experience with this. To each their own I suppose.

the least pleasureable experience ive had, this hack made me want to stop playing several times
most design was at best uninspired, and at worst created solely to frustrate the player
not sure what everyone sees in this hack or if i'm not in on some collective joke
don't bother

did not complete, softlocked in crateria east of wrecked ship
this hack was incredibly fun! i'll take hundreds of "beginner" or "easy" hacks over the vast sea of frustrating hacks that just want to make the player suffer.
my only critique would be that there were way too many "clear all the enemies" rooms, and too many foreground objects. but otherwise i really like how open the map was, the room design felt natural and metroid-like. awesome!
