Description
This hack is complete, but there are still a couple of bugs present that will be fixed in due time. None of the bugs interefere with the player's ability to enjoy the hack.

Temporus is a 7-room mini hack. Don't let the small number of rooms fool you; most of my beta testers still took about an hour or more to reach the end. This hack is difficult, but NOT because of a requirement for advanced tricks. You won't need to know how to do things like mockball or short-charge. Nevertheless, this hack still isn't reccomended if you're not well familiar with how Super Metroid is played. The difficulty comes simply from the puzzle and enemy elements. You'll need to tread carefully and explore every nook and cranny to find your way to the end. You'll know when you reach it - don't forget to return to the ship!

KNOWN BUGS:
- When entering heated rooms, Samus' palette briefly switches back to Gravity. Jumping (or most other types of movement) fixes it right away.

- Spinjump restarting produces an infinte sound if activated on the exact frame that Samus lands on the ground. Firing a beam stops the sound. Not likely to happen by accident, but still a possibility.

- The map isn't one large map, but several smaller ones (multiple areas). Not necessarily a bug, but something I'll have to fix eventually.

- After Kraid is dead and Samus passes through his room again, there is a tiny graphical error. This is caused by the use of Rakki's door speed-up patch. More specifically, it seems to only happen when using Snes9X and not ZSNES. This only happens ONCE, and the buggy graphics vanish whenever they're panned off-screen by jumping or leaving the room. Only happens in his room.

This hack is very well done. Don't let the size fool you like it says in the description, the rooms are big and have a lot to offer.

I don't remember how much time or how many items I got, but it took me an afternoon's worth of time trying to find most of the stuff. It has more to do with you scratching your head to figure out what to to instead of where to go.

It also looks very pretty!

Quick Summary of the meaning of my SM hack ratings:
5 orbs: SM hacks within the 80% to 100% (90% ± 10%) range of perceived perfection; SM hacks for outstanding wholesome playing experiences and at most minor inconveniences.
4 orbs: SM hacks within the 60% to 80% (70% ± 10%) range of perceived perfection; Well done SM hacks with noticeable design problems.
3 orbs: SM hacks within the 40% to 60% (50% ± 10%) range of perceived perfection; Normal decent average SM hacks.
2 orbs: SM hacks within the 20% to 40% (30% ± 10%) range of perceived perfection; Overall messy, confusing, or punishing SM hacks with some upsides.
1 orb : SM hacks within the 00% to 20% (10% ± 10%) range of perceived perfection; Ruthlessly unplayable, broken, or barely from the original game changed SM hacks.

Judgement parameters summary:
° Creative ideas and features, polished design, how enjoyable and fun the hack can be, lack of hard to find or cryptic required game elements, the difficulty, and if the hack can be finished without major guides or tools.
° Note that the length of a SM hack will not necessarily contribute to my rating of the SM hack, since instead the averaged out experience over the whole hack will be taken into account to get a relative comparison between SM hacks.
° Besides this, lack of impactful changes from the original SM game also went into the evaluation of SM hacks (otherwise one may consider them among the 3 stars hacks) as follows: Ultimately, for my ratings I consider a situation in which an SM enthusiast that already has, knows about and is familiar with the original game and its prominent mechanics could only choose 1 new SM hack to play and thus would really want to make sure he/she will get a fresh and fantastic experience or journey out of his/her 1 choice.

The goal of all these SM hack ratings is so that rather new players have an overview of the whole spectrum of SM hacks and how to sort them in, in relation to each other, where SM hacks that are rated lower might still be enjoyable for more experienced players.

Finally, sometimes for SM hacks it can be relevant that they may be significantly more enjoyable from a player standpoint at which the player is well practiced and familiarized with Super Metroid's game mechanics in general, and that in particular some of the best SM hacks may not be the outright best first SM hack choices to play otherwise because of this, and for beginner SM hack players this typically steers the best first SM hack choices towards some of the SM hacks that I rated with 4 orbs instead of 5.

Rating for some hacks may be off by 1 Star, but arguably not more, and ratings are not attempted to be provided within the precision of ''half orbs''.

This hack is WEIRD. Don't expect items to be in obvious places because they often are very much not. The map isn't very big, but demands great patience to find the necessary items to progress. Sometimes you have to push forward when you think you shouldn't. The morph ball is insane while the beam and missiles are flimsy in comparison. Some original enemy designs.

I really think the creator could have been a little more fair, but this hack is at least worth booting up, even if you eventually rage quit.

What a mindfuck...
Very good palettes. Good enemy resprites and good hidden items.
Bombs are OP and the rest of the items suck, basically. The changed physics honestly ruined the experience for me, because when you turn around sometimes you get launched in a direction. WHY?!?!?!
Also the atomic-like things (I forget their names, they follow you)do WAY too much damage and they respawn. Makes no sense. That entire room is a shitfest.
A certain super pack is hidden behind an unhinted grapple block, and X-Ray is almost useless. The visor extends about a few pixels tall. That's it.
Overall, I don't actually recommend this hack. It was frustrating in the beginning and towards the end, I didn't like it.
Finished.

Another hack that I can't decide if it's a 2 or 4 orbs.
It's visually interesting.
Morph related changes are annoying at first, but hack is fairly short so they don't have time to annoy you much.
Bunch of "quality of life" changes/tweaks which are interesting to see in an old hack.
Some enemies deal a lot of damage, but ship save is never/rarely too far away.

What bothers me the about this hack, is the "random" placement of items. There can be a lot of items placed on same screen with little or no hints. Even just bombing every tile isn't enough here, because hack doesn't use/show vanilla super block gfx. You'll have to bomb every tile and shoot everything with wave to find things, and apparently I wasn't doing that enough.

Interesting, somewhat small/short, but likely not for easily frustrated.

Lo recomiendo ya que tiene elementos interesantes y mecánicas nuevas que lo hacen atractivo el problema es que todo esta secreto yo tuve que ver videos de Youtube para hacerlo más sencillo, si no tuviera este último defecto le pondría 4.

The physics changed in this hack are really really really annoying. Some rooms are so frustrating that I almost quit. It's a terrible experience for me. Really don't like this hack. Although the palettes are pretty good.

A sometimes a bit tedious, but overall creative hack with a captivating dark atmosphere. The changed physics were a nice touch.
