V I T A L I T Y is the best Super Metroid hack of all time. It delivers on every single front: it's beautiful, challenging, and most importantly, it's incredibly fun to play. It's a piece of ROMhacking art. It reinvigorated my love for Super Metroid ROMhacks. Very few hacks come close to feeling like their own living, breathing, unique world; V I T A L I T Y goes well beyond that point. You can feel the love, passion, and dedication that was put into meticulously crafting V I T A L I T Y, and it truly was put to good use delivering what may be the greatest experience in Super Metroid outside of playing the original game for the first time.

Another hard choice between TotW and Vitality. I absolutely loved both, and I've played TotW a few times through. However, I have to give this one to Vitality. The sheer size and thought put into it, the great use of vanilla tiles, the depth of exploration in Vitality is breathtaking. It's easy to approach, still got enough challenge to hold interest, and I'm a sucker for a story. Great job, D-man. I'm gonna be thinking about this one for years.

When you think of good visuals, you think of Vitality. Hands down the best looking rom hack and my pick for the goat, it's amazing to just wander around and get lost in, finding new vast rooms and incredible set pieces. From the tree growing from a dead one to the room where you and a chozo statue gaze together at space, so many rooms made me stop and pause and go "Wow, that looks buetiful." Couldn't give this award to anything else.

V I T A L I T Y stands as one of the best metroid experience in the world building and exploration, the only hack that delivers a well builded serious story and many optional lore, instead of simply going for gameplay.
An upgrade to Eris since it does the same job but adapted to a more modern format rather than dated hack designs. The use of the limited SM medium was smartly executed to convey such story without too much hassles.
