It's not a metroid game and you shouldn't expect it to be. Fun hack with fun idea executed well. What can I say, I like nes mario metroid lol

Po100T beats out Wibrarne here for its superior difficulty curve, and a couple neat challenges.

This was a tough decision between Pit of 100 Trials and Wibrarne for me. 100 trials is a rare example of a challenge hack that is still pretty accessible; on Normal mode the hack should be doable for most people of a decent experience level, and the hack still offers Hard mode for those looking for an extra challenge. I like the thought that went into that.
With that being said, Wibrarne still deserves an honorable mention due to the really cool custom ASM involved, including long (multi phase) fully custom boss. That hack is actually very hard too, so if you're looking for a more hardcode experience, that's a solid option for you.
