I probably don't even need to say it, but god damn is V I T A L I T Y a great exploration hack.
Finding items aside (which you'll want to do because the difficulty can be brutal), V I T A L I T Y is the rare hack where exploration is its own reward, as you get to uncover more of the gorgeous levels and landscapes that Digital_Mantra painstakingly created.

When you think of good visuals, you think of Vitality. Hands down the best looking rom hack and my pick for the goat, it's amazing to just wander around and get lost in, finding new vast rooms and incredible set pieces. From the tree growing from a dead one to the room where you and a chozo statue gaze together at space, so many rooms made me stop and pause and go "Wow, that looks buetiful." Couldn't give this award to anything else.

V I T A L I T Y hands down is pure exploration challenges, so much that it goes to the detriment of it to some degree. But some exploration setups are so great, it really shows that Dman is the King of aesthetic exploration.
