This has got to be the most visually gorgeous, cleverly designed challenge hack I've ever seen, and my favorite so far out of Digital Mantra's games - which is saying a lot! The puzzles and graphics are lovingly and meticulously designed. Portions of the game are at peak levels of difficulty, but in a way that still manages to feel like a fun challenge rather than unfair or laborious. The story doesn't fully make sense to me, but it adds to the experience in a really neat and ominous way regardless.
Only criticisms, echoing what's already been said: There were times I had no idea where to go. I recommend the four-part 100% video by SuperKB on YouTube for pointers if/when this happens to you. Enjoy!

Loved this challenge...so much that I then proceeded to run it RBO. Possibly harder (for me) than Kaizo. HEAVY use of savestates. Had a blast.
I'm mostly here to second what dagit wrote: even better than the original Rotation, with some commonsense fixes and upgrades to make the game look and feel smoother. In the respin version, I kept having the game crash whenever I fired a super missile. That said, when I switched back to the non-respin version, everything worked smoothly. Thanks for a great new angle on the greatest Super Nintendo game of all time!
The elegant simplicity of this hack is what, I think, makes it so special. It's just upside down! That's all! And yet this changes so much about the difficulty level in each room, the routes to choose, the way puzzles are solved. Also, when I play it for more than 30 minutes at a time, I start getting super dizzy and disoriented even after I play. Which is cool, now that I know to expect it.
Now have you done it in Reverse Boss Order?
