Not only does Ice Metal: Uninstall allow the player to explore freely, it also makes for a really good hack. There were some serious challengers for 2010, but Green Kirby gets the nod for making a pretty rad experience. Really, this wasn't the only hack that had custom GFX. It wasn't the only hack that could have some challenge. It wasn't even the only "major" hack released. But it blended a lot of these elements together better than the rest. Not only that, it appealed to a large part of Metroid nerds due to the exploration. Give this hack a look, it is definitely worthy of the Best Overall award.
