Great concept, poorly executed in terms of difficulty. Needs some perhaps minor tweaks for difficulty adjustments when it comes to logic so the player can actually get a run started. For example, it will put you up against Ridley with 1 E-tank, Varia and Charge Beam, on Normal mode. There are many situations like this that will almost certainly result in death, at no fault of the player. Some simple gear checks before putting the player in certain rooms would be great. It's very easy for hack creators to go full throttle on difficulty, assuming it's acceptable for everyone else. This is clearly what has happened here.
The way things are currently with this hack, after 15-30 minutes for each attempt, it starts to get frustrating. There is a (very) small chance that you will actually get a run going for any amount of time on Normal difficulty. For that reason, this hack is unplayable for me. Save states are almost needed, which doesn't mesh well with the style of this hack. Timed items also don't seem to last long enough. Everything else about this hack is cool, though. It even has custom music!
