Reviews are subject to forum rules with respect to conduct and decorum. Reviews should do their best to follow the guidelines below.
Do:
- Write as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.
- Write your review as to inform other players.
- Address the quality and enjoyability of the hack.
- Gauge hacks with respect to how well they achieve their goals instead of how well they suit your personal preferences. E.g. if a hack is meant to be short, but you don't like short hacks, that is not a good reason to give a poor review.
- Point out bugs and points of frustration for the benefit of other players.
Don't:
- Don't insult or attack the author. Critical reviews are welcome, but they don't need to be rude.
- Don't argue with other reviews or insult other reviewers. Just share your own opinion and don't worry about what someone else thinks.
- Don't write your review as a message to the author. You can PM the author on the forum if you would like to send them a message.
- Don't review the base game. If you don't like the game that was hacked, that is not a good reason for a poor review.
Staff reserves the right to remove ANY problematic review even if it does not violate the above rules.
