Metroid 2k2k is a challenging Fusion hack taking place in an underwater research station where things go wrong after the nearby volcano awakens.
The hack is beatable as of now, but there are some technical problems to be taken care of.

I played this hack a couple years ago. It has been updated once since then to extend the escape. I remember suffering quite a bit from this hack, but it was a fun one. this is probably the only decent full-length Fusion hack out there and is definitely worth a play.

Softlocked right at the end.
If you save out of Ridley's area (which is possible, there's a stupid door warp)you can't go back in AT ALL if you don't have a save in that part of Sector 1. The path to progress there is completely unhinted but technically possible by space jumping around (that's your hint).
Other than that, typical Ing hack with his hard quirks and few energy tanks.
Has some cool sections but the path forward is so obtuse and stupid at times that I don't recommend trying it. If I didn't softlock, it would probably be a 3 star hack due to being one of the first full Fusion hacks.
Ing-ing is working on actually finishing this hack, but don't expect it to happen anytime soon.
Did not finish.
Do not recommend.

very frustrating hack but nonetheless interesting, the story is fun to read, but apart from that you will have a hard time and rage a lot, i still had fun tbh but wonn't still recommand it because of how hard and challenging and punishing this hack can be, would give a 2 orb and half if i could but it is definitively not a 3 orb hack

Wasted over 12 hours on this, only to get softlocked because I left ridley after "fully" exploring it. Edited save to warp back in there, finished what was left of game anyway. The "plot" after softlock part.. felt reminded of summer mission.. really of tired of that.
Gameplaywise, nothing good or too terrible sticks to memory. Boiler explosion was kind of bs, because you need to wait/rng for good enemy positions?
Few softlocks, tiling errors, door warps.
Navigation points are broken/vanilla, so it's HIGHLY recommended that you remember event order and sectors they take place in, without relying on adam.
I don't like fusion as is, and this hack.. I don't know. If it wasn't for the ridley softlock I'd might have been more lenient, but that ruined the hack for me.

You should rename this hack Metroid DON'T-DON'T.

A hack that keeps Fusion's event system, but brings a new story that's whacky and pretty hilarious at times.
The experience is a mixed bag, there are parts with fun exploration gameplay and parts with super trollish (trolly?) enemies and level design. The areas are large and creative, however the way forward is often obscure, I admit that I used MAGE to find it a couple times. E-tanks are scarce and the boss arenas are kinda ass.
Overall it's not a bad hack, I don't mind the challenge, I just think there's too much troll stuff.
