Description

Metroid Advance Game Editor (MAGE) is a comprehensive hacking utility for Metroid Fusion and Metroid Zero Mission created by biospark. It is a .NET 3.0 application written in C#. Currently it is only compatible with the North American (U) version of each game.

Bug reports and questions should be directed to the MAGE thread on the Metroid Construction forums. You can also find the latest updates and releases there.

It's Great besides the fact that its not as simple as Smile RF or Smile 2.5.
But still a great tool for editing MZM or Fusion

This is one of the best and easiest metroid hacking tools to use. I highly recommend it!

Second hacking tool I've used, first I've mastered.

People will tell you to read the docs if you don't understand something. But know what?

I, at the meager age of 12, was able to figure out the program almost entirely on my own through trial and error.

Now, I was no genius. In fact, I was (and still am) pretty dumb. So if I was able to figure it out with little help, that goes to show how easy it is to use.

This program is also very powerful. You can edit anything from rooms, to graphics, to minimaps, to almost anything you need to make a full hack short of sound and code changes!

It's a great tool, and an amazing entry-point if you need an easy program to start learning ROM hacking. It's a great stepping stone to teach you the basics so you can understand more complex programs like SMILE, Lunar Magic, or whatever else you're going to use.

It's really simple,easy to understand,and fun to use,the probelm im having is that when i got test a room it says "Test Rom could not be launched
Theres no app associated for this operation",i also downloaded the Game Boy emulator. Overall,4/5 until you fix that bug.

Very good editor, it would be nice if biospark did tutorials on it.

Currently the easiest to use Metroid editor, with a very intuitive interface and all the tools you need to create a quality half hack.
MAGE also comes with good documentation and technical information.
The only thing it's really missing are tutorials.
For the most part you're going to figure out how to use the editor through trial-and-error, reading the doc or asking people questions on MAGConst.
