Didn't even finish this hack and i can give it 5/5.
it certainly feels like a new metroid game all the same. not a hack. and thats the best thing. Everything looks like metroid as well. and it plays like metroid. albeit a little weirdly...
The reason i didnt complete it is well. SNESx9 crashed when my monitor shut off randomly losing ALL of my progress. as it corrupted the save. and i was a good 75% through it too.
but the hacks so good. ima say fuck it and just play it again...would recommend.

Hope you enjoy walljumping... and no not with the improvement. just for that i gotta give it a 3. If you're going to make the player do 100% walljumping to get through...maybe mod in the better version that isnt so critical that those that play with analog sticks can actually do it easier?
Other than that...yeah. its just metroid with its right side on the bottem.

Everything Cazort said i agree with except the difficulty. I'm fine with the difficulty. The problem is the "exploration". 73 halls. all requiring 1 item. = my wasted time. until i find the right one. As well as the graphics feels like a teenagers idea of an alien planet rather than an actual alien planet. and why the hell is everything so blue? Theres more blue in this hack than all of megaman 1-6 on NES.
Other than that. What Cazort said. as well as it doesnt *feel* like a metroid game. which is pretty bad. it doesnt reward you for playing it. It punishes you for playing it. even the stream didnt enjoy watching it. and thats pretty bad :/ i expected more out of an 88% approval rating.
