This is an excellent Super Metroid rom hack all around. I don't normally play a lot of metroid hacks, but I dipped my toes back in with this one. To be honest, the name is what pulled me in -- and I'm just slightly disappointed that the game doesn't feature a third tier of missiles, "super duper missiles."
There are only a few rough edges. For instance, not everywhere was fully tested with the x-ray scope -- the critical path to some bosses, for instance, are obscured by foreground tiles and the x-ray scope doesn't see through them (it looks to be a bug, and not by intention.) Another point of confusion was the "gone and died to heaven" room -- I've since learned this is a meme in the community, but for first-timers it's a bit baffling that the map station reveals this room in particular. I spent a few minutes here poking around, assuming it had to be important. If I were to make one change, I'd let this room be hidden on the map, not blue.
Despite those frustrations (and let's not forget the lack of super duper missiles!), I had a blast exploring this open-ended but neatly bounded map all the way through to the end. If you've never played a good super metroid hack before, this is for sure one to check out.
