I really enjoyed this game, and it's one of my favorite Metroid games of all time. It really feels like an official successor to the series, like a "Super Metroid 2".
Not sure why some people here thought this game was impossible to beat, I'm not a Metroid pro by any means but I was able to beat this just fine (the normal version, not the hard one). Overall it was a bit harder than Super Metroid, and felt a lot longer as well which I appreciate.
