Ratings and Reviews
I am keen on the big and full map which can be utilized repeatedly.Although the Hack doesn't take long, you easily realize that the author put much energy into the map design, such as the areas are highly differentiated, and there are multiple ways to obtain a prop.
Really fun, short and sweet hack! Good music choice from AM2R and Mega Man ZX. I really enjoyed collecting 100%, every secret is fair, map design was convenient. Good job on visuals and aesthetics.
I wish bossfights with Metroid Fusion bosses could be more interesting, but overall it is not big deal. Again, it was a blast to play this hack.

very satisfyingly Shaped minihack. reminds me a lot of metroid confrontation, not only in premise but also in its bitesize form and boss rush type pacing. would recommend.
Awesome.
Small and rich in content. All ZM content and some MF bosses are put in this Hack, only in one map.
The map design in the high temperature area is very impressive. It is very interesting and follows Metroid's usual design concept, with many hidden paths in the room.
The type of HACK should be Exploration rather than Challenge.
Except Kraid's HP is a little too much, the whole HACK is not difficult, and the rhythm of obtaining items and abilities is also well controlled, allowing players to immerse themselves in it.
I'll play it again later

(v1.2)
4.5/5.
Very enjoyable with few nitpicks.
The biggest plus is that this hack is very smooth in terms of progression, without it feeling artificial. There is little wandering around, you can pretty much follow your instincts where you want to go and you should be fine.
Most items are easy enough to find, but challenging enough to feel rewarding.
The most difficult for me to get was a missile which required traversing multiple screens including a save room and shinesparking upwards. That took a little while, but it was fun nonetheless (or maybe I just did it wrong lol).
The music choices were all good, although I wished for maybe one more track for variety.
As for a few negatives:
Bosses have questionable properties. Maybe this is for low% runs, but I just did a regular one and found this strange:
Just one Super Missile is enough to win the Serris fight, which did not feel right.
Ridley starts out in red color.
Nightmare deals pretty low damage for how much health is possible to have.
Some tiles early on look a bit wonky, like the 2x2 blocks in the starting area, but this is not a big deal.
Overall highly recommend this one.

One of the most organic hacks out there.
Progression is mostly super natural, music is fitting most of the times and its just... Very Metroid Zero Mission like.
Its just a mini metroid game.

The world in this hack is very uninspiring in comparison to other hacks. But I dont want to compare this to other hacks so i will rate it for what it has to offer.
There are a couple of good looking graphics in here. I really liked the heated rooms. On the other side there are unchanged Zero Mission tilesets being used. In general, the graphics tend to switch every other room, which isnt automatically a bad thing but in this hack it feels like most tilesets dont fit together thematically that well.
The content in the rooms is mediocre at best and tedious at worst. Progression gets better near the mid-game but is confusing in the beginning and plagued with the usual "run here, now run to the other side of the accessible area". I found myself wandering into a room three times in the hopes of finding progress after getting a new item, just for there to be a different item lock right after it.
Bosses are either super weak (Serris) or tedious to fight (Nightmare).
The music is a wild mix of two AM2R songs and some random chinese music that doesnt fit together very well.
In the end this is not a bad hack but also not a great one. Its just very mid.

1. KPF said "ALL OF THESE NEW SUPER METROID HACK ARE BULL SHIT!",however, this hack is MZM hack,so I think he is talking nonsense. And I just want to say " Man! Could you become more wisely?"
2. This is a comment specifically aimed at averaging the KPF rating :)

I like this hack. It is interesting but it gets too complicated, so I tend to lose interest in it.
If someone DOESN'T like my comments about the hacks, I DON'T GIVE A FUCK.
The comments are meant for MY opinion, in which I've a right to have.
DEAL WITH IT. Or not. I don't care!

A decently short experience, and not schizophrenic like Another Legend is. Not that Another Legend is bad, you should check it out too, but if you already have then this hack by Duola is far more coherent. While not on the level of prowess of some bigger ZM hacks, this one feels decently unique despite being stock gameplay and using all the same assembly patches most other ZM hacks do. Items can be easily skipped if you ignore enough doors but so far as the leading hand of the author attempts all immediately useful gear is located nearby to where you need it. It also manages to insert tastefully recolored Fusion tiles to fit the area palettes instead of retaining all the same colors they had from the original game, even when interspersed with ZM tiles. It is not perfect, and it could very well have been a full hack with five areas and still looked pretty cool, but for the bite-size of entertainment it is it does its job well. Also why did Serris die in one charge shot lol?
