Description

Samus has been contracted to explore the 4th moon of planet CS-267. She must discover any Space Pirate activity and shut it down! The entire moon has frozen over. Be careful though. The ice might just crack, plunging you into pits you may never escape!

This is a NES Metroid Hack made using Editroid. This hack contains Morph Ball, Bombs, Varia Suit, High Jump, Long Beam, Ice Beam, 6 Missiles and 3 Energy Tanks. Can you find them all?

Really good short M1 hack.
Fits to the theme really well!
Items are kind of given to you and you don't really have to look around much for them, but that's a very minor nitpick.
Some enemies are resprited + Brinstar & Tourian are resprited and retiled. They look really nice!
Overall, it's a fun short hack that I definitely recommend if you have 10-15 minutes to spare.

Bite-sized adventures are pretty neat, especially when it's NEStroid. The new palettes are splendid, and exploration isn't painful. I enjoyed it.

For beginners, this is a good hack. It has the basic elements of what Metroid is about: exploration, item upgrades, and platforming.

I liked the aesthetic and the colors. I really liked how the secret item was hidden too.

Not having any challenge was disappointing though. It's ridiculously easy.

I beat it in under 15 minutes.
