Super Metroid Arcade ========================= Made by Lioran and Tewtal Super Metroid Arcade is a 1 rom randomizer that gives you room proceduraly. Everytime you go in a door the game will look at what you currently have and give you a random room that you can complete based on that. (does not include current amount of ammunition.) Monster damage and speed increases over time (speed is capped) So granted you are playing on Endless mode, you will inevitably die at some point. ========================= How to patch ========================= http://metroidconstruction.com/howto.php ========================= Leader board ========================= You can submit your scores are HTTP://arcade.supermetroid.run You have to submit the code you get at the end of your run. If you do not wish to type in the code, you can open your sram in notepad and scroll at the bottom to get it. Keep in mind some emulator do not save the sram until the emulator is closed/reset. The code in the game over screen is not visible until you press select. This is a stealing prevention for streamers, use it well. ========================= Difficulty variance ========================= -Easy- Damage up: 80 rooms Speed up: 120 rooms Heated room are excluded until varia. Room take in consideration their difficulty ranging from 0 to 100, meaning certain rooms won't appear until you've past a certain amount of rooms. Points given are 1 tier lower than normal. Time attack: 90 seconds every 10,000 points -Normal- Damage up: 50 rooms Speed up: 80 rooms Damage increase every 50 rooms, enemies speed up every 80 rooms. Room take in consideration their difficulty ranging from 0 to 100 still. Heated room will show up without varia. Time attack: 70 seconds every 10,000 points -Hard- Damage up: 30 rooms Speed up: 50 rooms No room difficulty consideration. Draygon will have water free physics only on the first time. Points given are 1 tier higher than normal. Time attack: 50 seconds every 10,000 points -Arcade- Damage up: 10 rooms Speed up: 10 rooms Draygon will always have water physics. Points given are 2 tier higher than normal. Time attack: 40 seconds every 10,000 points ========================= Time attack mode ========================= During time attack you start with 3 minutes and you get extra time every 10,000 points based on difficulty. Time does not go down during bosses or special event. When you run out of time the death scene will be triggered. Every 50 rooms the amount of time given for points will be 10 seconds lower. Minimum time given is 20 seconds. ========================= Room mode ========================= You can select the amount of rooms, either Endless,50,100,250 and 500 rooms. When you clear the amount selected the ending will be triggered. ========================= Extra info ========================= -Damage increase Everytimee the damage increase it increase by 50% Some monster that do less damage have it increased by specifict amount for each of them. -Achievement system. There are various achievement you can complete, you can see the list in the achievement menu. The achievement menu keeps track of every achievement you've completed at all time. When an achievement is completed a blink text will appear where the score is. You will have to figure out how to complete each achievements on your own. Take this as an opportunity to relive the 80s and 90s when people shared info to figure stuff out. -secrets Secrets are scattered across the game, you just need to come in contact with them to get them. Blinking text "secret" will appear at the top showing that you found one. Althought there can be more then 1 secret per room, you can only get 1 per room. There is no tracker for which secret you've found. -Mother brain Mother brain fight can happen, but the rainbow beam and baby metroid phase have been removed. Instead mother brain dies on the second part.(hp and ammunition drop included) When you first reach mother brain the game will check if you have enough missiles to be able to defeat mother brain 1. If you do not have enough, the game will grant you extra missiles pack at the cost of 1 e-tank for every 2 missiles. Max hp will not go down below 99. Super missiles are counted as 2 missiles. so 20 missiles and 5 super missile will not trigger the penalty. 18 and 5 will give you 2 missiles and lower max hp by 50. An achievement called "Penalty" is awarded when you trigger this event so that you will be notified.
